Winter Tips for Inside Your Home

On the inside is where we want to be, but now is a great time to do some of those home maintenance tasks we don’t always want to do when the weather is nice outside.

Drain Water HeaterWater Heater

Drain your water heater to remove the sludge and calcium build-up.  A water heater is a fundamental element to every home, keeping it operating at its peak will ensure there are no cold showers for the coming year.

Humidifier

Humidifiers connected to furnaces are crucial at maintaining the appropriate moisture levels in your home and prevent your wood floors and furniture from drying too much with the dry heat from your furnace.  Be sure to replace the filter in your humidifier as they use water to circulate through your home and can develop mold, fungi, or other spores that can spread illnesses through your home.
