Not all of your summer maintenance has to be outside, so here are a few tips on some summer maintenance ideas on the inside:
HVAC :
Make sure you are changing or cleaning your filter based on the manufacturer’s suggested schedule. A dirty filter can lead to lower efficiency and premature failures for your heating and air conditioning equipment.
Water Heater :
- The summer is a great time to drain your water heater to remove any built-up minerals or sediment that has collected in the tank. Follow your manufacturer’s suggested procedure on how to best flush your water heater.
Appliances:
- Keep your kitchen appliances in the best shape by doing a thorough cleaning of the inside and out. Make sure to clean those refrigerator coils to keep it running as efficiently as possible.
